She rented a room with some others and although it was nice, she quickly started to feel unsure of the value she was getting for the $1,300 a month she was paying for the room. This got her thinking and it wasn't long until she came across the vanlife movement. She was immediately fascinated by it and just a short time later had given up her room and bought a van of her own.
