Fought on the second hardest difficulty and without taking any damage! Welcome to my No Damage run of Iji. In this run, I beat the whole game on Extreme difficulty without taking any health damage at all. Taking shield damage doesn't count, because not only is it ridiculously hard to avoid taking shield damage, it's also legit impossible to avoid getting hit at times, especially during boss fights. I can't believe I actually pulled this off. No, not just this Tor fight, but this entire run in general. I started this challenge all the way back in December. What started as just an innocent little challenge that I randomly recorded one day for fun, turned into something much bigger and something more emotional by the time I got to Sector 7. But after 4 months and about two hiatuses (that mostly happened because of Sector X), it is finally done. I seriously never thought I would live long enough to finish this run, in fact, after struggling on Proxima for 2 hours, I seriously considered to drop this run since Proxima was just way too bullshit and my patience was running thin... But I love Iji. I haven't loved a game this much in a long time, and because of that, while I ran out of patience, I never ran out of determination. I was way too deep in this run and there was just no way I was gonna back down. And so, after another 2 hours of fighting Proxima, I beat him, and that's when I officially became committed to this run. Sector 8, 9, X and all the bosses in those sectors were ridiculously hard to no-damage. Countless tries followed by even more countless tries. From terrible luck with enemies to me getting really far in a level/boss fight but then getting hit at the end because of pressure. It was hard, and at times, I thought it was impossible, but with my limitless determination, commitment and love for the game, I managed to make the impossible, possible. And now that I'm here, and have this finished run under my belt, I am happy. I want to thank everyone who watched the full run of this, people who even watched some of it, and of course, Daniel Remar for making one of the best indie games out there.
