Naturally Curious's video: 31 Clay Mask Deep Condition on Natural Hair

I order this masque from here: http://www.butters-n-bars.com/hair-masque.html What ingredients are in the hair masque? 100% Australian Pink clay and Moroccan Mud (Rasshoul clay), organic aloe vera juice, virgin hemp seed oil, organic virgin olive oil ,organic raw honey and silk protein in the form of amino acids, and preservative(formaldehyde and sulfate free Preservative) Why do you add conditioner to the Clay Masque? Even though this clay masque is perfectly fine to use on its own, I prefer to add a silicone-free conditioner so that the consistency is creamier - making it easier for me to apply it and rinse it out. While I usually add a conditioner I know my hair likes - its definitely not necessary to use an expensive conditioner. What else do you add to the Clay Mask mix? Using the Clay Masque as the base, I added TRESemme Naturals conditioner, avocado oil, and vitamin E oil. Any of the aforementioned items can be substituted out for different conditioner and oils. I will sometimes add olive oil and castor oil in this mix. Almost any oil/conditioner combination is possible! How long do you keep the Clay Mask in? I usually like to let the mask sit on my hair for at least an hour. But sometimes I leave it on overnight, as I end up doing in the video. How long have you been using this clay mask? I've been using this Rhassoul clay mask for almost two years - This is one of the first Rhassoul clay masks I tried after going natural in December 2010. It has been one of my staples since then. How often do you use this clay mask to deep condition? Over the course of the year, I usually deep condition with this clay hair mask about 4 - 5 times - using it every three months or so. But I dont necessarily follow a schedule - I really just use it whenever I feel like it :) Do you apply it on dry, damp or wet hair? Application of this mask can get messy, so to minimize the mess I prefer to apply this mask on slightly dampened hair.
