Rash Phari is a local name means “sparking Lake”, also known as Rash Lake, located in Nagar Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan. It is a high alpine lake located at the base of Rash Peak (5,098m), a peak for the beginners, you can begin your climbing experience from this mountain and enjoy spectacular views from all sides. Rash Phari is one of the most attractive treks, especially for those who want to have a first time trekking experience with a lifelong thrill.  You can walk on glaciers, through villages and observe the life of those living at the foot of mighty glaciers. Trek along the irrigated terraced fields with the stunning views of the mighty Karakoram mountains from the summit of Rash Peak 5,098m. The trek starts from Hopar (2,790m), a marvelous valley with green fields and fruit orchards. It provides the best views of Spantik (7,027m), Malubiting (7,458m), Miar   Peak (6,824m), Phuparash Peak (6,574m) and Ultar Sar (7,388m) and the distant glimpse of of the world second highest peak K2 on a fine day.  It is the junction of two famous glaciers of Barpu and Bualtar.
