Hi my name is Rev. Neal A. Farley. I am a Maryland resident and proud gun owner. I love my children & grandchildren and like all Americans we want them to feel free to go go school and learn without the fear of being killed! MY PLAN MY 3 STEP GUN CONTROL PLAN. FIRST THE ASSAULT WEAPONS I would like for all those who have AR-15 and other assault weapons to keep them and offer them free military style training how to use them properly. Failure to take the training will cost you to turn in your assault weapon. A military style weapon belongs in the hands of a properly trained military soldier or police officer. Also from here on out the only one who can purchase an assault weapon is a military active or retired, or police active & retired with full background and mental health record check. If someone wants to get rid of their assault weapon they can be sold or donated to a military active or retired, or police active & retired. 2nd SECURITY Now as a computer engineer in Washington D.C I ran service calls in every government office from the white house, pentagon, HHS, DOA. DOD. NASA, and on and on. Almost all of them have 1 yes ONE security guard at the only exterior access door and one inside to walk around. All the other doors are locked from the inside for easy exiting in case of a fire. I would put exterior metal detectors on all used exiting doors for fire drills. Also on all fire drills the police should also arrive and check to make sure no one gets back into the school without going through a metal detector. Also every door has a ring style wifi surveillance camera with motion sensors on the in and outside of every door. Every door has sensors on them to tell you if it is open or closed or moved. Assault weapons need to be out of the hands of the idiots who have no proper training in how to use these weapons correctly in a hostile environment and give them to every active and inactive retired military and every active and inactive & retired police for free! Pay the retired military & police to guard the front doors of our schools as well as inside incase they need to leave their station the second guard would fill in while their gone. 3rd MENTAL HEALTH SCREENING Our children need our help! Our Children Need Solutions! It's never one thing in these attacks and like any problem no stone can go unturned to try and protect our children and that includes changing the law in Florida that no child under 21 can buy a gun...Period. Also we need to utilize all the in school Guidance Counselors by allowing them to do a mental health wellness evaluation screening test 2 or 3 times a school year. This is to help screen any potential red flag warnings and allow open discussion to all avenues of intervention to help the student flagged. A COUNTRY THAT CAN'T PROTECT THEIR CHILDREN CAN'T PROTECT THEIR FUTURE
