DISCLAIMER IN READ MORE! Several days ago, the Netgear modem/router went krupt and was showing a red power light which was rare but somehow we managed to get around this problem and working fine. However, we bought this mainly if the Netgear goes bad again and maybe we may use this backup modem just in case. This modem only works on Comcast/Xfinity which is the service that I have here. Also, the 4-year warranty plan just in case this would go bad later on.
