@A Male Water Vole Swimming and Counter-Marking a Female's latrine

Having eaten, this male water vole swam off and then counter-marked a female's latrine by covering it with his droppings a short distance from his feeding station. It is the first time I have ever caught this behaviour on camera! Male water voles are not territorial, they have a range in which there are usually two females.
