Trzecia część automatowej gry Metal Slug przeportowaną przez studio DotEmu na platformę PC. Gra dostępną jest na Steam oraz GOG. Dlaczego trzecia? Otóż jest to poprawiona wersja Metal Slug 2 i w kompilacji liczy się jako trzecia gra z rzędu. Nie było sensu nagrywać i kupować dwójki ponieważ X jest praktycznie tą samą grą z pewnymi drobnymi zmianami. ;)
