Stellar Productions's video: Bryce Zabel s First TV Report about UFOs - ABC - 1983

Back in 1983, I was a producer for an ABC magazine show, "Eye on LA." I'd just come off working as a CNN correspondent (1980-1981) and a PBS investigative reporter (KCET, LA, 1981-1982). Both were on-camera gigs but, in order to continue to live in Los Angeles, I agreed to produce but not report. This report is voiced by me, but it's only the rough scratch-track that would be used for guidance in the final edit. The actual report was voiced by the show's host Paul Moyer. I've only recently found this piece of video because of doing a massive transfer of my professional and personal videotapes to MP4 and Apple Pro Res files. I was shocked to see it because I'd forgotten it altogether. Especially because of my current profile in the UFO/UAP space, I've been wondering when I managed to first cover the subject in TV. Now I know. Over 40 years ago! My thinking on the subject has obviously expanded a great deal over those years. Still, some of my current themes are still there. It's raw, unfiltered, ancient, etc., but it's a professional marker for me in my evolution in trying to understand this great mystery.
