August 15 is the 227th day of the year in the Gregorian calendar. 138 days remain until the end of the year. भारत में हर साल 15 अगस्त को आजादी का जश्न मनाया जाता है. इस दिन भारत को 200 साल तक अंग्रेजों की गुलामी से आजादी मिली थी. देश इस बार 15 अगस्त को स्वतंत्रता दिवस (Independence Day 2020) की 74वीं वर्षगांठ (74th Independence Day) मनाने जा रहा है. 15 अगस्त 1947 को भारत को आजादी मिली थी. और यह दिन भारतीय इतिहास में एक महत्वपूर्ण दिन माना जाता है. 15 अगस्त 2020 शनिवार को लाल किले की प्राचीर से प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी देश को संबोधित करेंगे. हर साल लाल किले की प्राचीर से 15 अगस्त को प्रधानमंत्री के द्वारा देश को संबोधित किया जाता है. तो वहीं इस दिन लाल किले पर बच्चे शामिल होकर कार्यक्रम में उत्साह बढ़ाते हैं. तो वहीं कई झांकियां निकाली जाती है. लेकिन इस साल 15 अगस्त अलग तरह से मनाया जाएगा. इस साल कोरोना महामारी के चलते बच्चों को बुजुर्गों को इस कार्यक्रम में शामिल नहीं किया जाएगा.
