1000 farads!! Farads!! (phone battery ran out) Show More .. ok then. The reason I couldn't find the repaired section in the arial : I put the good 6001 onto the 5000! I've since swapped it back. The repair is good. holds up well to being pulled. Take a piece of solid copper wire, hammer it as flat as needed so it can pass through the two slits on opposite sides at the end of the element. Leave 2mm of the flattened end protruding from the slits and bend upward and flat against the outside of the ariel element. Push/Slide the element back into its larger brother element, and the copper wire will prevent the part coming free. Make sure to bend the ends up, not down!
