Network Heros's video: MySQL Master Slave Replication in RHEL 8 CentOS 8

@MySQL Master Slave Replication in RHEL 8 / CentOS 8
In this video tutorial I have shown you how to configure mysql database servers as Master-Slave replication so that databases in one server is automatically mirrored or replicated in another server. This is done for database backup or failover and fault tolerance. If one database server fails another database server will have the databases. So there is no loss of data if in case one server fails. Now let me show you the lab scenario and prerequisite for this demo lab. MySQL :- Master-Master Replication in RHEL 8 / CentOS 8 | Linux Administration | Database Admin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4H0Btf32n6Y I have two Red Hat Enterprise Linux virtual machines one with the IP address as 10.10.10.26/24 which I will configure as a Master replication server and another is with 10.10.10.27/24 which I will configure as a Slave replication server. They both have the DNS and Gateway address as 10.10.10.2. I have configured the hostname of the server as dbsrv01 and another server as dbsrv02. Before starting this lab, you should have fulfilled the following prerequisite. - Configure Static IP address to the hosts and make sure that they have connectivity. - Configure hostname as per your choice and configure to resolve IP address to hostname either by configuring DNS server or by editing and writing on /etc/hosts file. Also verify it by pinging from one server to another by its hostname. - If you are using Red Hat Enterprise Linux, create a local repository so that you can install the required packages for the local repo. But if you have valid Red Hat subscription manager, you can install the packages from there as well. And if you are using CentOS then, make sure you have internet connectivity.
