NewViewOklahoma's video: Creative Visions Art Students Create Beautiful Art

NewView Oklahoma proudly offers an artistic outlet to blind and visually impaired individuals. Creative Visions hosts art classes for adults and children. This video showcases two students who worked with local established artists to create pieces of art that were sold at a fundraising event to help support the program. Creative Visions sessions are generally six, consecutive weeks that meet for 90 minutes. The class schedule is developed to coincide with exhibitions at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. Classes are taught by local, professional artists and have included Installation Art, 3-D Mixed Media, fused glass, textiles and mosaics, sketching and drawing in charcoal, pencil and pastels, and acrylic marbling.
