The walkcar weighs between 2 to 3kg (4.4 lb to 6.6lb). Despite it’s lightweight design, the portable electric vehicle can carry loads of up to 120kg(265lb). It can travel at 10kph (6.2 mph) at top speed, for up to 12 km (7.41 miles) on a single three-hour charge. Walkcar does not require a parking space as it can be carried in a bag or by hand. It is intended for use in public places such as airports and amusement parks. Customers will be able to begin reserving their device starting in October 2015, with each one costing around $800. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Next Media Animation’s News Direct service provides daily, high-quality, informative 3D animated news graphics that fill in for missing footage and help viewers understand breaking news stories or in-depth features on science, technology, and health.
