Two shocked residents were walking along Little Beach, in Albany, when they saw the dugite snake devouring the fellow reptile. The snake belongs to a species of venomous and potentially lethal snake family Elapidae, which are native to Western Australia. Two friends, Holly King and Sinead Hart, spotted the snake with its lunch during their morning walk on Sunday. 'Holly and I were on our morning walk when we saw it,' Ms Hart told the Albany Advertiser. 'It already had the lizard in its mouth once we got a picture. 'We kept walking and it was gone by the time we got back.' The image was widely shared social media on Tuesday. 'Grab the lotion towels and rifle we're going to the beach,' one person joked.
