Special highlights of AERO India 2021 This time, the 13th Asia's largest aero-show 'AeroIndia' held in Bengaluru from 3 to 5 February was named the 'Hybrid-Mode' exhibition .. which was the world's first hybrid aerospace show. In which many companies displayed their weapons and other military equipment virtually. Indigenous aircraft and helicopters dominated the sky of Bengaluru from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). The special thing is that this time the air show has signed an agreement to buy 83 indigenous fighter aircraft Tejas for the Air Force. Under this, the Government of India will buy 83 additional upgraded and more capacity LCA Tejas aircraft from HAL i.e. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited for 48 thousand crores. These Tejas aircraft will be known as LCA Mark-1A. HAL is expected to hand over the first LCA-Mark One-A to Air Force in the next 36 months. And there are plans to hand over all 83 aircraft to the Air Force by the year 2028-29. Do you know who gave the name Tejas to LCA ie 'Light Combat Aircraft'? The Light Combat Aircraft LCA, a light combat aircraft of 'Four and Half Generation', made its first flight on 4 January 2001. And in 2003, Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee named it Tejas. Roddam Narasimha was one of those who played a key role in the creation of Tejas, who died on 14 December 2020 the previous year. In this work, Roddam Narasimha was supported by Kota Harinarayan, who is called the father of the indigenous fighter programme of India. The 13th edition of Asia's largest air show 'Aero India 2021' has started at the Air Force Station Yelahanka in Bengaluru on 03-February-2021. In which many indigenous aircraft ranging from indigenous fighter aircraft Tejas are showing their feat. What is Aero India show? The Aero India show started in 1996. Since then, this air show has been held every second year. Aero India show is Asia's largest exhibition for the aerospace and defense sector, which showcase what new technology has come in the defense and aviation in the world. Along with the exhibition, there is also a public air show, in which planes show flying tricks and skills in different formations. And this time its 13th edition is being held at Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru. Starting from 3 February 2021 the event will run till 5 February 2021. In AERO INDIA 2021 American B-1B Lancer Aircraft also participated. The aircraft took 26 hours to fly to Bangalore from South Dakota airbase, USA. The Sarang Aerobatics helicopter team and Surya Kiran team teamed up for the first time. Actually till now both the teams used to do different aerobatic but this time the helicopter and the fixed-wing display flight are performing together at this aero India 2021. 601 exhibitors including officers, service chiefs, representatives, defense ministers, and 78 foreign companies are participating in Aero India.
