It was India’s second World Cup win after 28 years. Former skipper MS Dhoni was one of the architects of India’s victory as he slammed 91* off 79 balls in the final while chasing Sri Lanka’s stiff target of 275. Celebrating the historic day, CSK arranged a special cake for Dhoni as his CSK teammates joined him on the occasion MS Dhoni and then Indian team bowling coach Eric Simmons who are part of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) unit, celebrated the 11th anniversary of the Indian team’s World Cup win.
