Newmacher to Auchnagatt along the old railway line (28km vertical gain of 142m). If you are following the North Sea Cycle Route (Sustrans Route 1) and you want to avoid the roads this videos show what to expect by following the old Buchan and Formartine Raiway line). It joins Route 1 back at Auchnagatt. Other than exploring my homeland the purpose of these videos is to share the route with any one who might be thinking about cycling the Scottish section of the North Sea Cycle Route (Sustrans route 1).Hopefullly they give an insite on what to expect on the roads towns and village that the route passes through.
