I started up Get to Sleep Easy last year, after losing a few friends to problems I faced during cancer treatment. Today I pitched at . The final 12 teams who made it beat out over 1000 applicants to reach this stage, and somehow, we managed to take down 1st place! A $40,000 grant that we're gonna double with a matched grant so anyone and EVERYONE can knowing their loved ones are safe. Thanks to everyone who's helped us out in our journey. Thanks to and for their vote of confidence. And thanks to everyone who's pre-ordered too (you can get one for your loved one, or if you want to get yourself a comfortable night's sleep too) at GetToSleepEasy.org What we're doing... We've created a device which converts any bed into a hospital bed for 1/10th of the price, complete with sensors which alert loved ones and staff of falls, pressure sores, and even if they've stopped breathing! Machine learning, via our app (Centered Around You) will ensure this is as accurate as possible and keep the , and safe at home. So blessed. I'm still in shock. What an awesome honour.
