Nile Wilson's video: Gymnasts have an MMA fight

I’ve been challenged by The National Lottery to go on the ultimate road trip across the UK to try out some of the sports and projects that National Lottery players help fund, ahead of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. In today’s vlog I headed to Fearless MMA in Birmingham to meet coach Josh, who has been part of a Birmingham 2022 Festival project – People, Places, and Sport. This powerful photography project features 20 portrait subjects (including Josh) and celebrates local communities and sport across the West Midlands. Birmingham 2022 Festival is a six-month-long celebration of creativity and culture in the West Midlands and is supported by National Lottery funding. National Lottery players contribute £30 million to good causes each week, including the home nation Commonwealth Games teams competing at Birmingham 2022 as well as grassroots sports across the UK.
