It is one of India’s top-notch motorable mountain pass. Spiti Valley Road is the highest point. The road on top of the pass is not a road but a track of dirt leading up to the top of the hill linking Lahaul Valley and Kullu Valley with the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh. The exterior of this shingle road is time after the time loses, especially along the sides of the road. It makes necessary to drive carefully and slow down whenever approaching an oncoming car.
