The trailer launch of Drishyam 2 took place in Goa. Ajay Devgn as the common man, Vijay Salgaonkar introduced his family as the case is set to reopen after 7 years on November 18. The original, Drishyam, that released in 2015 was helmed by Nishikant Kamat. An emotional Ajay remembered Nishikant saying, "We all miss Nishi. Usne hi shuruvaat ki thi. We would have been very happy if he was with us today, but the show must go on." Viacom18 Studios Presents Gulshan Kumar, T-Series and Panorama Studios present, Drishyam 2 produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar. The original score and music is by Rockstar DSP (Devi Sri Prasad).
