Ladies and gentlemen ...Ms. "Sippie" Wallace. One of our great American blues singers and musicians. In her early days - Sippie was accompanied by such great masters as Louis Armstrong (when he was a coronet player) as well as Johnny Dodds, Sidney Bechet, King Oliver, and Clarence Williams. But here it sounds to me like maybe she was accompanied by Sidney Bechet. Not exactly sure. This is from a 78 RPM disc Lets enjoy her tunes while we can huh? Bless her soul.
