Noah MacKrille's video: The day I Moved to Austin Kicked out

In this video, I show you my drive from Grand Junction Colorado to Austin Texas in my Toyota pick up. After a cross-country road trip the length of 10,000 miles, I found Austin to be the best place for me and decided to pack up and move. Disclaimer: nothing breaks because it’s a Toyota. This 1200 mile drive is like a drive to the grocery store for my truck. This thing has taken me everywhere including Miami, Florida the past month as well as being in San Diego. 22R engine is stock. I have Air conditioning, power steering and it’s a 5 speed manual. It’s especially rewarding to drive because I got this truck from my dad who gave it to me. I didn’t see my dad very much growing up and this is what he gave me when I turned 16 to someone make up for it. He taught me how to do my oil changes and regular maintenance as well as small repairs. After eight months of living with him, I moved away taking my truck with me. I had to do all repairs on my own and he was a mechanic so it made things easier when I was with him. When my head gasket blew, along with several other things That have gone wrong… I had to fix them all on my own. Blood sweat and tears have been put into this truck, countless amount of hours have been spent by me going over every detail. It’s been so rewarding to drive because of that. All of the wrench slips, stripped bolts and frustration of working on it, all pays off. It’s my work that got me everywhere I wanted to go reliably even at this old (33 years old as of 2018) I hope you guys enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it. To some people this truck is just a old beater with pink fenders. But to me, I worked for it, I own it, and I’ll drive it until I’m dead or incapacitated. I can’t wait until the day I can park this in the garage next to my Porsche 911‘s.
