Welcome to my channel! I'm a classroom science teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. In addition to creating videos of science lessons and tutorials, I also have created a set of science themed timers to complement lessons. I created this themed timer to be used with lessons teaching about the topics or water or waves. In the classes I teach students learn about waves including electromagnetic waves (infrared, ultraviolet, x-rays, visible light etc.), sound waves and other waves that may move through liquids or solid including ocean waves and earthquake waves. All waves share the characteristic of allowing energy to move through a medium (material). Students learn about water in biology and STEM classes by exploring the properties of water that make life on Earth possible. These lessons teach about hydrogen bonding, surface tension, evaporative cooling, temperature moderation and more.
