Holidays are in full swing and in this vlog, we travel to Northern Iceland to have a good time with our friend, Villi. Without direct demands or directives on our part, we let Villi decide what to do, which resulted in a very fun weekend, in beautiful, but rainy, surroundings. ◾ We arrive to Ólafsfjörður. We get a guided tour through the small village with about 900 inhabitants. Unfortunately, we do not see much in the thick fog. But we are having a good time anyway. #Ólafsfjörður. ◾ Our overnight house. We stay in a super cozy house out on a cape close to the water. In this possibly haunted house, we bathe in a fish barrel to warm our frozen bodies. The rain does not want to stop slamming against the ceiling, we are not complaining. ◾ We go fishing and jump down into the Atlantic. This is the highlight of the weekend. We set out to catch some fish, to Kim's fear (What do you really do with the fish when it is caught?), and end the tour by pulling on wetsuits to pull after the boat in a rope. A little alcohol is needed to withstand the cold and the waves. ◾ We end the weekend in a heated pool in Hofsós. A bit flustered after yesterday's "fishing trip" we end this perfect weekend with another dip, but significantly warmer.
