Interreg North Sea's video: TOPSOIL

TOPSOIL On 21 March this year, TOPSOIL organized a highly anticipated ‘policy day on groundwater & soil management in a future climate' in Brussels, and its envisaged impacts on future EU policy making, involving members of EU Parliament & Commission. Although – literally – hidden in the underground, our project is at the core of emerging climate related challenges for the North Sea Region. Amongst others, this was clearly demonstrated by the very dry summer of last year. Our TOPSOIL pilots already showed the potential to make an actual difference for making our environment and related economic and societal services more sustainable, hence the increasing interest of policymakers.
