Vecinos que se vieron afectados por el doble deslave de un cerro en la zona de Tulpetlac, en Ecatepec de Morelos, informaron que el Presidente Municipal, Fernando Vilchis Contreras solamente llegó el día seis de octubre cerca de las 20:00 horas para "hacer acto de presencia" y tomar fotos; pero sobretodo por la presión de Octavio Martínez Vargas, Consejero Nacional del Partido de la Revolución Democrática (PRD).
