@COVID-19: Healthcare Module Units by UNOPS in Argentina

In the context of the emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Argentine government - through the Ministry of Public Works in coordination with the Ministry of Health - requested the support of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) as a specialized agency in public procurement and infrastructure. Today, 11 health care modules have already been fully installed in 4 Argentine provinces. The more than 11,000 m2 installed in less than 30 days were procured by UNOPS using Emergency Procurement procedures that include principles of transparency, sustainability and efficiency in public procurement.
