OZQB's video: Mt NIKK -SHIRANE Getting Lost with Two Germans GoPro Hero7Black 4K

This was definitely one of the more adventurous summit climbs I've been on! Despite the weather clouding our summit views the hike was still a very rewarding experience more for the fact that we found our way after getting lost. Instead of turning left at the beginning of the track (a sign post had fallen down) we continued forward until we met a dry waterfall bed. And instead of doubling back we decided to give the sheer and slippery mountain slope a crack. We figured it would lead us back to the path eventually! The journey back to the path was an arduous one that's for sure! A lot of credit should go to the two German guys, Paul and Max, who had a flight later that night back in Tokyo and they were running the risk of missing it if we got more lost than what we already were. General Info: Mount Nikkō-Shirane (日光白根山 Nikkō-Shirane-san) is a strato-volcano in the Nikkō National Park in central Honshū, the main island of Japan. It stands at 2,578 m high. It is the highest mountain in north eastern Japan (no higher mountains exist in the east or north of this mountain). Its peak (Mt Okushirane) is a Lava dome of andesite. Mt Nikkō-Shirane is listed in the 100 famous mountains in Japan proposed by Kyuya Fukada. I hope you enjoyed the video!
