As if these two teams weren't already arch nemesis'... and then comes Round 4 of the Gridiron Queensland competition. About 6 weeks ago the Bayside Ravens battled the Gold Coast Stingrays and the Ravens got stung on their final drive of the game. With time winding down and the Ravens setting up for a field goal for a chance to win the game the referees called time despite their apparently being time left on the clock. The game was called, there was no field goal try and the 'Rays went away victorious. The two teams meet again now in a top of the table clash that foreshadows a potential semi final showdown.
