It’s going to be a long day today as we need to travel almost 230 km from Kargil to Padum. The distance may seem less but it’s going to take 9-10 hrs to reach Padum. The roads are going to be off-roading mostly and had to cross Pensi-la Pass, one of the high mountain pass located at 14,400 ft. We are going cross the Drang Drung glacier today, the largest glacier in the Ladakh region.
