Today’s plan is to travel from Tabo to Pin Valley via Dhankar. In the morning we went to see Tabo Monastery. It’s a must-visit place and try to go in the early morning hours. It’s open at 6am, so try to spend at least an hour exploring all the temples inside it. Tabo to dhankar road is good, only tricky part is the multiple steep hairpin bends. The view from Dhankar Monastery is magnificent. Dhankar to Pin Valley entrance gate road is good, then it was a complete dirt road till Mudh village. It took almost 2.5 hrs to reach Mudh. It's an absolutely scenic road but very tricky to drive. But it's one of the most scenic places in Spiti Valley.
