SACRAMENTO – (Monday, June 8, 2020) – In response to recent weeks filled with images of peaceful protestors maimed by rubber bullets, California State Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez (D-San Diego) and a coalition of Democratic lawmakers announced they will pursue legislation to set clear standards on how these harmful projectiles should, and shouldn’t, be used by law enforcement.
