SACRAMENTO – (Thurs., March 21, 2019) -- Modern Family star Julie Bowen was in the Capitol today to advocate for Assembly Bill 66, saying it would essentially provide about $100 a year in tax relief by eliminating state sales tax on children's diapers. San Diego Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez wrote the bill -- she's sponsored similar bills twice before but believes this could finally be the year the tax is repealed.
