Originally being called Nearsight, Myopia shares both of the definitions it provides for the idea of this track. After their initial fight and on the verge of a breakup, Vinyl locks herself in her place. After reminiscence a past trip both her and Octavia shared over the summer, she begins to do what she does best and writes her heart out. The fault of her being so focused and too tunneled vision into her goals and projects could most likely hinder her relationships with the people she really cares about and more likely separate her from Ocatvia. Though she may not know it Octavia does love this drive and determination from her craft but in her mind she thought it would've been a team effort and that Vinyl would've also make time for her. She begins to wonder if it was a mistake to really be with Vinyl considering all she does is stick to her craft and nothing else. She can't shake her feelings off tho and ponders if it can really still be salvaged. "It's on her, if she's willing to change and if I can forgive.... then maybe...." Octavia, teary eyed sleeps off all that has happened, debating what should she do next. At long last, a new track from the upcoming Missed Hearts album is here c: I can also finally share more news about said album. 27 tracks (2 being bonus tracks) I will release 2 more singles before the album releases after this track. The last single will also be when I finally release the album in full and it will be the title track, Missed Hearts. I can't wait to finally release it soon ^^.
