The Man Who Wouldn't Die from 1942 was a murder-mystery movie starring Lloyd Nolan as detective Michael Shayne. The story involves the mystery surrounding a man believed to be dead who has escaped the grave and has returned to cause trouble, and it's up to Michaël Shayne to solve the mystery. This was the fifth of seven of the Lloyd Nolan Michael Shayne films produced by Twentieth Century Fox.
