Quick review of Shield for Murder from 1954 was an excellent "bad cop" story featuring Edmond O'Brien as a police detective who makes the bad decision to secretly shoot a criminal and take his money, to try for a better life. But can he get away with it? The film also featured John Agar and Marla English. It's a great crime story as one by one his girlfriend, his fellow cops and even his protégé start to become suspicious. It's a great crime film worth checking out.
