Sidr and shikakai powder are plant extracts that contains saponins that clean the hair. Each mask contains only water and powder. I didn't add oil because I wanted to measure the effet of the powder ONLY on my hair. I left the shikakai and the sidr mask for 5min on my hair. Results : I found that Sidr is gentler on the hair that Shikakai but leaves MUCH more residue on the hair. It is also more difficult to get rid of it when rinsing it. You might want to mix your Sidr mask better than me.
