I will show you today how to make a simple anti-dandruff lemon and rosemary scrub. This scrub is perfect if you have dandruff as it contains lemon and rosemary essential oils that will help to purify your scalp. It’s also great if you don’t use shampoo often because it will help get rid of the dead scalp skin. You will need: - 10 tbsp of sugar, - 5 tbsp of grapeseed oil, - 3 drops of rosemary essential oil, - 3 drops of lemon essential oil. Mix the sugar and the oil together. Add 3 drops of each essential oil and mix again. Work in your bathroom to avoid any mess. Apply the product on the scalp section by section and then gently massage it. Leave the product on your hair to let the essential oils actives to do their job on your scalp. I exfoliate the rest of my body while the product is on my head :) I found that if you apply the product on wet hair, the sugar starts to melt. I prefer to apply it on dry hair instead. Rinse and clean your hair as usual. You can shampoo afterwards but focus on the length rather than the scalp. If you have some product left, put it in a clean container and keep it in the fridge. Because there’s no water in it, you can easily conserve it for a few weeks. The sugar is gentle enough on the scalp but do not exfoliate your scalp if you have sensitive irritated scalp. I found that salt, Epsom salt and sugar cane are too strong for the scalp. Make sure to test your sensibility to essential oils 48h before using it to avoid allergy reactions. Apply a few drops on your arm. Do not use essential oils if you are pregnant or you are breastfeeding. You can use the vegetable oil that you prefer. You might want to avoid castor oil as it will be too thick. You can use other essential oils like: tea tree, thyme, sage… I am French originally from Martinique, a French Caribbean island, hence the accent :) ————— Music: Artist - |Fritzwa| Song: “A-Train" from her new album: Avenue |A| Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/fritzwa-music/ IG: https://www.instagram.com/fritzwa/ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxfpHy9puLU Spotify: http://bit.ly/2d8yiRy
