Sai Ram Everyone... I have been using restored Amal 376 carburetors on all my latest Royal Enfield G2 restoration... Amal 376 settings: main jet 160 (140 to 180 actually, each engine seems to react differently), pilot jet 25, needle jet 106 and needle clip at second position (sometimes first position, less backfiring) from the top. I used a choke on the beginning but it does not improve the cold start, best is to press the tickler 1 to 2 seconds, feel the compression and start... If it doesn't, tickle again a bit and try again to kick start. So really, choke not needed in warm India! Well; good or bad? See and hear for yourself!
