This is my entrance to the 2020 Michelin Challenge Design. With the theme "Upcycle" How to take a previous design and update to take the advantage of the technology and to be future ready?, well, the original Sexy Buggie selected in 2003 was intended to celebrate the French design: freedom, originality and no compromise were the core to develop a very ludicrous car, but What now?, the Citroën París is a new beast, focused to be a fully autonomous electric car, enjoy a new lounge cockpit for to passengers, each with access a complete infotainment system, no steering wheel but smartphone sync, voice command and supported by AI and real time traffics inputs, the new concept was designed with car sharing services in mind, fully electric and with all wheel drive - all wheel steering and symmetric drive including color changing LED´s lights challenging the idea about front and rear design, because yes, the car is symmetrical. Of course the double bar inspired by the Eiffel´s tower in Paris is a key design´s element in the new model and connect with the original concept. The 2003 entrance was intended to be a drivers car, the 2020 car focused in put away the stressful experience of driving in crowded cities, a technological tour de force.
