Parkour Flyaway takedown 💥 Concept to creation. I’ve had this idea in my head for a while now so it was fun to finally get to play with it with Kyle Soderman for my Jackie Chan Fight video 🙌🏻 Started with a simple lache take down (without the flip) then incorporated the flip and slowly started to land more and more directly on top of Kyle making sure we were staying safe with every step along the way. (To make sure we wouldn’t collide or land on top of each other) Once we felt good in the gym it was time to film it! The big difference was the bar outside was lower than the one we’d practiced on in the gym so I had to get an extra swing in on that one to make sure Kyle and I wouldn’t hit heads when I did the flip above him in the air. Happy to say all our practice paid off and we nailed it multiple times with no trouble when it was time to film it for my action short! 🙌🏻 Yay rehearsal! Kudos to Kyle for taking that back fall like a champ and trusting me to not land on top of him! 😅
