Mount Monserrate is a mountain in the centre of the city of Bogota. It rises 3152 metres abouve sea level. At the top there is a catholic Shrine. In the area around the shrine you will find life-size stations of the cross and a strip of shops and vendors, too. There is restaurant and a snack bar, too. There are 2 ways to get to the top - one is by funicular and the other by the cable car known as the Teleferico de Monserrate. The view from the top is breathtaking.
