DJ Sloan of On The Hook TV hooks a nice Blue Marlin in Panama. Trolling 4 hookless trolling lures this Blue Marlin came in quick and aggressive on the short left teaser. The Captain quickly pulled the teaser out of the spread and DJ fed out a mackerel pitch bait on a circle hook. After a swing and miss, DJ fed it back into the spread and in another position for the Marlin to see it again and take another aggressive bite on it. DJ let the Marlin eat the bait and hooked up! After a 25 minute fight the Shimano Talica 25 performed flawlessly and we had the Marlin boat side for a quick release.
