Curtiz gave us some of the greatest films in the history of cinema, Casablanca, The Adventures of Robin Hood, The Sea Wolf, Mildred Pierce, Captain Blood, Yankee Doodle Dandy and more. His career spanned more than 60 years and over 170 titles. He worked in the earliest days of silent cinema in Europe, though the Early Talkies and into the golden age of Hollywood.
