Shot outside of the Donald Trump rally at the San Diego Convention Center in the Marina district of downtown San Diego near the Gaslamp Quarter on May 27th, 2016. We wanted to film this rally the same way we filmed the Bernie Sanders rally in Irvine, CA, with the candidate speaking in front of his supporters, but we were denied a media pass. We obtained Trump tickets and attempted to bring small cameras in, but were prevented from doing so. As an alternative, we shot the events outside of the rally instead.
