This is an interview that was shown on Suria on 24th January 2013 based on my record. A rare Singaporean Malay that has achieved a lot in the extreme sports of mountaineering. He climbed Mount Everest twice and he climbed virgin peaks 6 times and gave them names that has to do with Singapore. You know, like Majulah, Singapura, Temasek, etc. Very interesting stuff, and definitely a route very much less travelled by Singaporeans. He said he nearly died while climbing Mt Everest cos he slipped down from the rocky slopes. Whats his next Everest, asked the interviewer? He said: to perform the Haj and climb Jabal Nur!
