All the compositions were written and arranged by Lipe and interpreted by his brazilian jazz group. In the CD Lipe had the pleasure of playing with the great Bulgarian violinist, Nikolay Sapoundjiev and the Peruvian guitarist, Sergio Valdeos, now living in Switzerland. Ana Azevedo also performed on keyboards, Renato Endrigo on drums and Di Lutgardes on percussion. Each composition belongs to a Brazilian groove: Maracatu de Janeiro, Dolphin run (bossa nova), Mrs. Az (Brazilian waltz), Choro'n blues, Asa Branca & Rio Doce (baião), Samba blues, Xote das cachorras and finally Frevo.
