Biografía: Sus inicios en la música se dan gracias al apoyo de su familia. La historia de Manuel Medrano empieza cuando reprobó un año escolar, y como "castigo" le regalaron una guitarra. Desde los 16 años empezó a escribir sus canciones, lo que lo motivó a empezar su carrera como solista. Tocó en distintos bares de Bogotá durante varios años mientras componía varias de las canciones que años después le darían el reconocimiento a nivel nacional.
